Here is what I was working on in my 3DF class at Full Sail.



We have started to learn about edge loops, mirroring, triangles, n-gons, parenting, in class. As a intermediate veteran in Blender, the concepts being taught aren’t anything new to me. But just like Blender, Maya has a lot, a lot and a ton more of buttons, terminologies and what have you, that is alien to me. So I’m really learning about what are the different workflows between Blender and Maya, and so far I think Blender does a much better job at quickly prototyping assets and building them compared to Maya.
I know Maya has a lot of nice nifty features to make your life easier in 3D modeling, but I find it odd that the base building components it has makes it very unenjoyable to use.
